“I ordered this because I have I was about to have an operation on my shoulder and wanted to have some cushioning support. I have been very pleased with the topper and it will remain on my bed even when I am fully recovered. What I like is that the foam appears to be good quality, and is soft and full, but not bulky, such that you need a step-ladder to climb up on top of the mattress. The effect of the softness comes as much from the detachable top layer, which is a quilted foam, like a cloud, and very pleasant to sink into. It protects the memory foam, and provides a softer contact layer for the body than the foam. It also looks as though it would be very easy to take off and wash. My recovery is half over, and it is obvious that the benefits of this combination will remain with me, even when I am back to normal. I am already sleeping much better than I did before my recent operation.”
“I saw this offer come up as a Lightning Deal just before Christmas. We’d been discussing buying a new mattress but decided to try this topper instead. It arrived in just a few days. We took off our 2 inch memory foam and replaced it with this item. The 4 inch topper is actually 2 separate pieces – a 2 inch memory foam plus a 2 inch pillow top. “This is just incredibly comfortable. Well made, priced right, and doesn’t slip around like the ones that are just a pad. Also, because the cover goes over the whole pad and your mattress, it is much easier to take care of than the kinds where you have to put a case over the entire pad (like a pillowcase) – those are unwieldy. Not sure how I will wash the the cover/pillow portion of it, will update my review when I do.”
